- Rezan Has Museum
The Rezan Has Museum is located in a building that used to be the Cibali Tobacco Processing and Cigarette Factory, which has now been converted into Kadir Has University. The main attractions of the museum are a Byzantine cistern called the Karanlık Çeşme, and the ruins of an Ottoman-hamam, both of which constitute most of the museum. The permanent exhibition here consists of artifacts dating from the Neolithic to the Seljuk periods.
2. Yıldız Palace Museum
The main construction was started during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II, and the pavilion was called Saray-i Humayun (Central Palace). Throughout this period, buildings for the Sultan’s private use, as well as repair and carpenter’s shops, theaters, museums and more were added to the structure.
